Good Morning.

I would like to take a moment and recognize Ricky Layton.

For the past two weeks, I have been in constant contact with Mr. Layton as he assisted the Harris County Sheriff’s Office Crime Analysis and Intelligence Division with the install, troubleshooting, and one-on-one user teachings of ArcGIS Pro. Mr. Layton’s engineering abilities and work ethic of ArcGIS Pro is a clear indication of his devotion of operational commitment.

Our division attended a data driven analytics course last Thursday and Friday to which ArcGIS Pro was the core component. Mr. Layton worked side-by-side with our division to assist with the install, troubleshooting, and ensured each user’s login into Esri was operational.

Our class would not have been a success without Mr. Layton’s assistance! He also took the time to come to our office and worked with Analyst Kimber Burks on some training.

We are grateful of his services to our division and hope to continue working with Mr. Layton to facilitate crime analytics for the Harris County Sheriff’s Office.
