HCUS Unveils New Website – Modern New Look

Featured News

Harris County Universal Services launched its new website on Sat. Mar. 15, 2025.

The new site, featuring a modern layout and a reorganization of services for both Harris County departments and residents, went live after a year-long development that required clean up and alignment with new strategic plan for the department and the county.

“We started a rebrand a few years ago and we knew the website needed to be part of that,” said Executive Director and Chief Information Officer Sindhu Menon. “It was vital to develop a site that reflects the diverse array of services we provide in a manner that all of our stakeholders would feel comfortable navigating.”

Visitors will notice new additions such as the community engagement section that features the latest updates for the digital navigator training and resources, as well as the senior community training schedule. Visitors can also connect to the Harris County 311 portal through the site and connect to records data for many departments.

The website was developed by the HCUS Creative Team. This team develops and maintains approximately 70 customized websites for various Harris County departments.

“I am proud of the work our team did to create our new website,” added Menon. “At any given time, they are building two to three sites while maintaining dozens more all in support of our fellow Harris County departments and their efforts to engage with the community.”

The site is ADA compliant, mobile responsive, and features multi-lingual support. Visit the new site here.
